These groups are for teenagers aged 10-18 at St John’s and St Michael’s Churches. Anyone is welcome to join or just come along to see what we do.

Fusion* (currently not meeting)

School Years: 9-13
When: Sundays, 7.15 – 8.30pm
Where: St John’s Church, Muxton
Why: To enable like minded teenagers to grow in faith and relationship with Jesus through fellowship, prayer, Bible study and discussion. Members will also be offered the opportunity to attend local and national Christian youth events.

Blaze* (currently not meeting)

Age: School Years 7-9
When: Sundays, 6-7.30pm
Where: St John’s Church, Muxton
Why: To enable like minded teenagers to grow in faith and relationship with Jesus through fellowship, prayer, Bible study and discussion. Members will also be offered the opportunity to attend local and national Christian youth events.

Spark*

Age: 10-18
When & Where: St John’s: Every Sunday, except the 2nd of the month, during morning services at 11am.
Why: To disciple and encourage young people and to enable them to come to know Jesus in a meaningful way.

Pathfinders (currently not meeting)

What is Pathfinders?
A chance to introduce children who are in school years R-6, to God, building knowledge, understanding and a relationship with him so that they can make a choice to walk God’s path and enter into his Kingdom and Tea is also served .

When  and where do we meet?
Thursdays during term time – 5.05pm – 6.15pm (but not the first Thursday of each term) at  St Michael & All Angels’ Church in Lilleshall

What do we do?
We spend time in small groups exploring the Bible through different approaches such as drama, interactive readings and puppets. This is often followed with a craft activity. We join together in worship with modern music and we occasionally include dance, ribbons, flags and musical instruments

Who are the Leaders?
The Leaders are all committed Christians who worship regularly:

  • Junior Leaders:  Todd Kynaston, Georgia Appleton, Amber Dickens and Brendan Appleton

(All Leaders and Helpers have a DBS Check (Criminal Record bureau) and follow the Lichfield Diocesan Child Protection Policy)

How much does it cost?
We ask for a weekly donation of £2.00 per session to include food which is used towards the cost of resources, materials and Birthday gifts for the children. We really appreciate your donations.

Sub:Zero*

School Years: 7-9
When: 1st & 3rd Friday 4-6pm
Where: St John’s Church
Why: To provide a place where young people can come to relax and socialise with their friends.

Sub:Extra*

School Years: 9-13
When: 1st & 3rd Friday 6-8pm
Where: St John’s Church
Why: To provide a place to relax with friends.

TGI Sunday

School Years: 7+
When & Where: St John’s usually once a term, 5-7pm;  (Look out for dates in the church notice sheets or check out the events calendar)
Why: To provide a place for fun & fellowship with good teaching and a chance for discussion. Share a meal together at St John’s, and have a chance to play table tennis, pool or Wii as well as silly games!
