The Word around Muxton
Welcome to The Word around Muxton, a newspaper for local people written by them, compiled by members of St John’s church in Muxton. There will be three editions each year, December, April and July.
Over the years Muxton has grown from a hamlet to a much larger community which includes a Primary School, Church, Pub, Doctors, Golf Club, Shops and over 2000 homes with people of all ages. Our aim is for our community to be able to share and learn about each other and the environment in which we live.
If you have any news or things you would like to share in the newspaper please contact us on the theword@stjohnsmuxton.org.uk. We would love to receive articles or news items from our younger folk as well, so please encourage them to contribute as we aim to have a regular section for them and written by them.
As we have limited room in the newspaper itself we are also putting links to St John’s website (www.stjohnsmuxton.org.uk) for further information on longer items, such as recipes, walks instructions, etc.. Paper copies of these will also be made available at St Johns Church during opening hours contact the office on admin@stjohnsmuxton.org.uk or telephone 01952 670033
