Drama and tragedy, parades and singing, celebration and contemplation as the community of Muxton re-enacts a story of death and life in four parts.
You’re invited to join a series of drama scenes for children to be part of and for adults to reflect upon.
Triumphal Entry Sunday 9th April at 11am (Starts at Muxton School)
Join the crowd as Muxton re-enacts the beginning of the Easter story – Palm Sunday as you have never known it
Passover Meal Thursday 13th April at 6:30pm (St John’s Church)
Share a simple meal and see how Jesus is betrayed by one of his followers into the hands of soldiers.
Good Friday 14th April at 11am (St John’s Church followed by reflective service)
Watch Jesus on trial – what did he do wrong? Follow the outcome – Jesus carries his own cross on which he will hang.
Easter Sunday 16th April at 4pm (St John’s Church – a Celebration Event)
Experience how despair changes to immense joy as Jesus, who had been certified dead three days before, is discovered to be alive.

Men are invited to a Men’s Breakfast, women to come and be pampered at our Women’s Evening
For younger members of the community, there is a special series of our Activity Days for primary aged children, and our Sub:Zero youth cafe will be running on four days, each with a special workshop. Finally we’re hosting Chip Kendall in Concert.
Besides these, there is an Easter Cafe and a Healing Service for those in need of any kind of healing.
