We hope that you not only enjoy our ‘Passion for Life’ events, but they lead to you asking some questions, and wanting to find out more. For Christians, what’s most important is that someone comes to know the living God who loves and cares for all of us. That’s far more important to us than simply attracting new members to our church – although we’d love to welcome you at any of our Church services or events.

This page offers three ways that you could take the next step in finding out more…

To book on any of them, email: admin@stjohnsmuxton.org.uk or ring 01952 670033

ALPHA

Thursdays from 27th April at 7.30pm

Alpha is for anyone who is curious. The talks are designed to encourage conversation and explore the basics of the Christian faith in a friendly, open and informal environment. No question is out of bounds and you are free to discuss as much or as little as you wish.

Alpha is suitable for all – for those with no experience of church, and for those that have, but still have questions.

The first session starts with a meal.

YOUTH ALPHA

(11-16): Fridays from 28th April, 7pm – 8pm

Have you ever thought:
• How old is God?
• Where does God live?
• Why is God important?
• What’s in it for me?
Come and find out the answers to these questions and more. Includes free snacks!

Christianity Explored

Wednesdays from 3rd May at 9.30am (fortnightly)

Christianity Explored is a DVD based series of seven fortnightly sessions. Anyone is welcome to come and think about the big questions of life. Each session starts with a light breakfast at 9.30am and we will finish at 11am. We will look at Mark’s Gospel and find out more about the life of the person at the heart of the Christian faith – Jesus.
